About Monte Muambe Mining
Monte Muambe Mining Limitada (“MMM”) is a Mozambican mining company dedicated to the responsible development of the Monte Muambe Fluorspar and Rare Earths project into a responsible mining operation.
The project is held under mineral concession no 11854C and located in Moatize District, Tete Province.
MMM is co-owned and funded by NeoTerra Group PLC (formerly named Altona Rare Earths PLC), a British company listed on the London Stock Exchange. NeoTerra Group PLC has invested over 256 million meticais in the development of Monte Muambe, and continues to invest, the priority being the rapid development of the fluorspar deposit.
In addition, in February 2026, MMM received a $1.875 million (120 million meticais) grant from the United States Trade and Development Agency (“USTDA”), aimed at supporting the development of the rare earths mine, assessing potential value additions pathways in Mozambique, and exploring potential commercial integration with the United States rare earths value chain.
